We had so much fun over the past 3 weeks. I can't believe we were gone so long, but I'll recap what we did. (Don't worry it shouldn't be to long, but I can't promise anything).
First: Golden Spike National Monument - I had never been there. For those of you who don't know it is in northern Utah. It is where the Union and Central Pacific Railroad joined their rails at Promontory Summit. We got to see a reenactment of the story.
I loved driving the lawn mower. We also made it to the Spokane Temple. It was great.
The next picture is Paul with his grandma.
While we were in Spokane, Paul took me to Riverfront Park. It was beautiful. There were so many bridges. We spent half a day just walking around the park.
This "HUGE" radio flyer wagon was also at the Riverfront Park. Where's Waldo (I mean Angie) ha ha. The handle of the wagon was a slide. AWESOME.
Because I couldn't format the pictures how I wanted them, I'm sorry you'll just have to look past the empty space. However, after we spent 1 week in Spokane we made it over to Seattle. We ate lunch at Sky City which is the restaurant at the top of the Space Needle. I was so excited that the restaurant rotated. The outside wall didn't rotate and it was funny to see the notes that people passed back and forth. It took 40+ minutes to rotate a full 360 degrees.

After we ate lunch we went one floor above the restaurant and walked along the sidewalk where you can enjoy the scenery. I thought it was pretty scary, but only for a minute and then I continued enjoying the time.
Later on we went to R.E.I because we heard it was cool in Seattle. We were right. This is the hike to get into the store.
This waterfall in front of R.E.I was prettier than one of the parks we saw in downtown Seattle. Partly because it was clean and no bums were there.
On the Ferry Boat from Seattle to Bainbridge Island. We had never taken a ferry which was so much fun. It was super windy. We parked our car below and walked around for about 30 minutes, then it was time to get back in our cars.
After we left Bainbridge Island, we 'somehow' found our way to FORKS. I was pretty excited to go. It was okay, but I thought the drive was prettier then the sites we saw in town. However, it was still fun to go at least once in my life. So many cars stopped at this sign, it was pretty funny.

Look who we found in Forks! (This is the only picture Paul would let me take of him in Forks, I had the most fun. Paul drove me around to all the sites that I wanted to see, but he was not that enthusiastic about it. However, it was great that he accepted the fact that I wanted to see it.)
I Decided I would take an engagement photo with Edward.
We then drove to Portland, OR and stayed overnight. We were going to take the coastal drive through Oregon, but we were in the car for about 10 hours the day before. So instead of another 8 hour day, we decided to drive only 5-6 hours to Medford, OR where we stayed with a friend. Before we got to Medford we saw a sign for a historical site. Paul quickly got off the exit. It was great to get out and walk for a minute and we saw this cool bridge.

Now, we left Medford and decided to drive the 'long' route in California. Instead of another 6 hours we drove the 8. It took us through parts of the Redwood Forest (I LOVED IT). It also took us to visit Camp Wente. For those of you who don't know, this is the Boy Scout Camp where Paul and I met in 2002. I then went back to visit in 2003 and again in 2006. In 2006 Paul proposed here. I took a picture of where he proposed. Unfortunately, I didn't get the lake in the picture. I love the lake, it is pretty.

We then went to San Leandro, CA (where Paul's family is) and stayed there for another week and a half. We got to see a lot of family. Our trip was great and we saw so much. Most of what we did and saw were the long scenic drives, but overall it was well worth the time.
Now it is back to work and the real world.
