Another one....

So I just remembered that I even had a blog. Since August and getting my job that is all I seem to be doing lately. I love my class. They are a great bunch of 2nd graders. I believe tomorrow will be day 70 in school. It seems to go by to fast.

For Thanksgiving Paul and I went to my parents house. It was an off year, but we are going to California for Christmas. I'm excited to go out. Mainly because I can now have days off work, but still get paid.

I need to get better at posting pictures, but until next time I hope everyone is doing well.

2nd Grade Teacher

I got a job teaching 2nd Grade at Pony Express Elementary. It is in Eagle Mountain and is a bit of a drive, but I love it. The principal and the 2nd grade team are very supportive and helpful. I could not have asked for a better place to work. I'm in a trailer :) so I'm trying to figure out how to get my classroom arranged and set up in 2 1/2 days, but I'll make it work. Wish me luck! I'll get some pictures posted soon.

Updates from the lives of the Simpson's

We have been enjoying the last year, and since I'm no good at blogging I decided to do one post from the past.

We went to Thanksgiving Point and enjoyed the Tulip Festival in April of 2009. There were 250,000 Tulips. It was beautiful. It poured as we walked through the gardens which is why we did not take to many pictures of eachother. We mainly got the pictures of the gardens, while we stayed safe under the umbrella.

After the garden we went to the Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum to dry off. We had a great time and Paul enjoyed the sand table. (Notice the kids behind him! He is also bending way down because he was way to tall for the table.) I may have helped a little with his landscaping. It was fun.
I got to ride a Dinosaur.

SEALING 2008

Paul and I were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on September 27, 2008. It was a beautiful day and many people came and supported us and we made an amazing step in our lives.

Well I don't know how to put the pictures in order, but the one above is at "Provo Falls" a waterfall in the upper Provo River area in the Uintas. We love the outdoors and enjoyed a fun family reunion last summer. We went hiking and my Dad brought up his 4-wheelers.

Paul and I got married January 13, 2007. It has been a great 2 1/2 years. This is a pictures of my cute family. There are some who could not make it to the wedding.

Graduation - May 1, 2009

Well I thought I'd be better at blogging, but I'm not. I finally did it, I graduated! I thought I would post a picture of the coolest class ever! Graduation was a blast and our cohort got along great. I will miss all of them, but I will not miss the class and homework.

Finally another post!

Well I am finally putting up another post. I hope you are all proud. I wanted to post some pictures from last summer. We spent the summer in Virginia, but we were about 20 miles from Washington D.C. so we were able to go and explore quite a bit. One of my favorites was going to all of the monuments and going Paddle boating! When we went to the MLB Game, Nationals vs Giants, it was over 100 degrees. The pictures was taken at the end of the game. It was pretty hot, but I still had fun.
